As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made more than 500 useful non-botlike edits, and to have been active in the last thirty days. Patrollers and License reviewers don't have to request this flag. Find possible candidates.
je souhaite pouvoir télécharger une version mise à jour des membres de File:World Trade Organization Members.svg fichier auquel j'ai déjà contribué Thank you. Kyat02 (talk) 18:39, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Bonjour, J'ai activé l'écrasement de ce fichier. Malheureusement, 57 est trop bas et je ne peux donc pas vous l'accorder pour le moment (via goggle translate). Abzeronow (talk) 18:58, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am always uploading and vectorizing flag files that use raster graphics. I usually improve the Portuguese Wikipedia which has very few volunteers dedicated to the vexilology and heraldry part of Wikicommons. I am requesting autopatrol rights because I also want to fix broken/bad .svg files by uploading new versions of them instead of creating new files and replacing the old one's usage manually. Thank you. Feitidede (talk) 05:41, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, 100 is still too low, although it is better than when you requested this last month. I need at least 250 edits from you (500 is what the guideline says). You can make individual requests at COM:OWR in the meantime. Abzeronow (talk) 15:54, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a Wikipedian-in-Residence at the National Library of Poland. Sometimes I need to overwrite a file with a better quality version from the National Library. Thank you. Redaktor GLAM (talk) 21:56, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm mostly active on English Wikipedia but I've uploaded many files (mostly scans of public domain pictures) to Wikimedia Commons since 2019. I would like to be able to overwrite files, as it would make my life a bit easier with regards to changing files on English Wikipedia. Best, Tenpop421 (talk) 22:22, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am the coordinator of a running campaign Wiki Loves Onam 2024. The page is now editable for template editors. In the coming days I need to modify the page and some related templates. I am experienced person in editing templates and modules. I am a bureaucrat in Malayalam Wikipedia. Please grant this right to me. Thank you. Ranjithsiji (talk) 17:48, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made at least 1,000 useful, non-botlike edits or a large amount of justified renaming requests at Commons before they will consider granting the filemover right.
Hello, I regularly participate in Commons and often encounter technical issues with file names, for example, "File:LMC 20240524 192031 Color tone rttg .PORTRAIT.jpg." The renaming process takes considerable time, and although I’ve uploaded over 1.5K files, many still need to be renamed. I believe having the right to rename files directly would greatly improve my workflow. Thank you. Owais Al Qarni (talk) 02:17, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Owais Al Qarni, I am willing to keep this request open and would want you to file some rename requests in line with the file renaming policy to demonstrate your knowledge of the subject. There's no experience shown. Regards, Aafi (talk)07:36, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Owais Al Qarni, requests made manually like this aren't filtered. It is always recommended to use the "Move" button to request a rename, through RenameLink. I will still keep this request open to see if there are any concerns from others. Regards, Aafi (talk)12:36, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For the past few days, I've been requesting renaming of files with bad file names. I've found it annoying when it takes quite a while before a renamer actually renames the files. Therefore, I'm requesting for this right so that I can rename files on my own. –– T@hmid (T@lk)14:14, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I’d like to request file mover rights so I can fix (both self and importing) error, according to guidelines, by myself. I often come across files that need renaming for better clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Having these rights would help me contribute more efficiently (while doing category maintenance, like the one I made for DJs); moreover it will avoid overloading rename requests and relative categories (where I can also help with this right). Thank you. GioviPenGP msg11:13, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Right now there are already several files that I should rename, but I would wait to receive the flag to do so (instead of making the request etc) GioviPenGP msg00:50, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I tried to upload an MP3 file of my arrangement to Pachelbel's canon, based on characters I copied from the MUSESCORE website and edited using the software. (another rendering of mine is there under username 5484472) Thank you. JL5484427 (talk) 05:13, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
